Just an often-glimpsed scene aroudn this wonderful town. To a true New Yorker, these unapologetically utilitarian constructions -- hand-built, airborne water barrels that provide most city dwellers with their daily ration of H2O -- are a unique hallmark of the city's familiar skyline.
