I know you're supposed to paint dunes and lobster boats on Cape Cod, but this gift shop on Route 6 near Wellfleet, crowned and festooned with dozens of colorful blow-up beach and pool toys, was impossible to resist.
(Fun fact: US 6 used run all the way to Long Beach, California, making it, at 3,652 miles, the country's longest highway.)
