These ancient boulders (geologists call them "glacial erratics") littered the primeval landscape throughout the Northeast, and the designers of Central Park wisely decided to keep them -- and the kids clearly approve the decision, too. Two of Central Park West's celebrated buildings -- the Majestic and the San Remo -- seem to hover benignly in the background.
