What a sensational view, watching the sun come up over the flats below, where Lincoln Boulevard (the local segment of the Pacific Coast Highway) plunges downhill & zooms north through what was recently many acres of open wetlands. The new houses east of the road (I'm told) all went up in just the past 15 years.
